Why invest in nature-based solutions?

Data

You need to rapidly accelerate capital flows to nature-based solutions:

The world needs to triple investments in NbS by 2030 (UN News).

Each year, tackling crises related to climate, biodiversity and land aggregation requires US$536 billion. The amount is four times greater than the current US$ 133 billion invested (UN News).

Did you know?

  • For every US$ 1.00 invested in NbS, the return is US$ 10.00.
  • Only 3% of companies report NbS as part of their climate adaptation strategy.
  • Brazil alone represents 20% of global opportunities in NbS with important participation in reforestation, soil management and agriculture. This means that we can be a reference for NbS implementation in the world!
